The 5 øre green was, as mentioned earlier, mainly produced to be for printed maters. Besides this, the stamp was used for various mailing purposes inside Denmark mainly postcards.

 

The first 5 øre green arms type stamps were delivered from the Theile company in 1882. In total 4 printings of the 5 øre green was produced on the basis of the clichés from Lauter.
